Rummu Dive Day 2026 – Dive Into One of Estonia’s Most Unique Dive Sites - 18 July 2026 | Rummu, Estonia
Raya Divers and Arctic Divers are joining forces to organize a unique diving event at one of Northern Europe’s most iconic inland dive destinations – the flooded quarry of Rummu, Estonia.
The event is held as part of the international PADI Women’s Dive Day, but divers of all genders are warmly welcome to participate. The goal of the day is to bring the diving community together, create new connections, strengthen existing friendships, and enjoy unforgettable underwater experiences.
What Makes Rummu Special?
Rummu is a former limestone quarry and prison complex located approximately one hour from Tallinn. After quarry operations ended, groundwater flooded the area, leaving behind buildings, walls, machinery, and the famous submerged prison structures that have since become one of the most fascinating dive attractions in the Baltic region.
Today, Rummu is known for its crystal-clear freshwater, unique underwater scenery, and remarkable blend of history, nature, and diving.
Highlights include:
• The famous submerged prison buildings
• Crystal-clear freshwater and excellent visibility
• Easy accessibility from Tallinn
• Suitable for both recreational and experienced divers
• Outstanding underwater photography opportunities
Arctic Divers & Raya Divers
This event is first and foremost a gathering of diving communities.
Arctic Divers Dive Club and Raya Divers invite divers from Finland, Estonia, and beyond to spend a memorable day together both above and below the surface. The event provides an opportunity to meet fellow divers, share experiences, and build new friendships and professional connections within the diving community.
PADI Women’s Dive Day
PADI Women’s Dive Day is the world’s largest annual celebration of diving and community.
Its mission is to:
• Encourage new people to discover diving
• Support and empower women in diving
